FAQ - How to order LCD modules

In order to better serve you and provide a quotation in a timely manner, please provide the minimum information below:

1. If you would like to order our standard products
Please provide our product part number, such as DM1602F-D-YSNFD-00. If you do not have our full part number, please provide the following information:

• The drawing or competitor’s part number
• If an LED backlight is needed
• TN or STN(yellow-green, grey, or black/white). (if not indicated, the default will be yellow-green STN)
• Operating and storage temperature range (if not indicated, default will be standard temperature range)
• Quantity

2. If you would like to order custom made products

Please provide:

• PCB, LCD, viewing area and bezel (if any) dimensions
• Positive or negative.(if not indicated, default will be positive as it is the cheaper of the two)
• Reflective, transflective or transmissive (if not indicated, default will be reflective)
• TN or STN(yellow-green, grey, or black/white). If you can not decide, please let us know what your resolution is (i.e., 16x2, 128x64, 320x240, or alphanumeric). We will then provide a suggestion based off of your requirements.
• Backlight (LED, EL, CCFL, or optical fiber)
• Operating and storage temperature range (the most economic is 0 to 50°C and -20 to 70°C respectively).
• Module type: COB, TAB, COG, COF, or any other type
• LSI (if any)
• Other special components (if any)
• Quantity (if not indicated, default will be per order)
• Special needs (if any)
  

We encourage you to provide us with as much information as possible. It will help our engineers and design team to have a better understanding of your needs and requirements, and ensure quality and efficient customer service. If you are unsure about any of the above information, please feel free to contact us.

Dwg or dxf files for drawings are most welcome, it can make the whole procedure shorter although we accept any other types of files.
